Slide Door System: Replacement

REPLACE SLIDE DOOR HALF OPEN STOPPER SUB-ASSY
1. Using a screwdriver, remove the 2 clips and cover.
  NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

2. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the control cable from the open striker.

3. Disconnect the control cable from the half open stopper.
4. Remove the 2 bolts and half open stopper.

5. Install the half open stopper with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 7.0 N.m (71 kgf.cm, 62 in.lbf)
6. Connect the control cable to the half open stopper.

7. Connect the control cable to the open striker with the 2 nuts.
  Torque: 7.0 N.m (71 kgf.cm, 62 in.lbf)

REPLACE SLIDE DOOR HALF OPEN STOPPER CONTROL ASSY
1. Using a screwdriver, remove the rear door scuff plate (See REPLACEMENT ).
2. Using a screwdriver, remove the back door scuff plate (See REPLACEMENT ).
3. Using a screwdriver, remove the quarter trim panel (See REPLACEMENT ).

4. Remove the 2 nuts and half open stopper control.
5. Remove the control cable.
6. Install the control cable, as shown in the illustration.
  Dimension (A): 3.9 +/-1.5 mm (0.154 +/- 0.059 in.)

7. Install the half open stopper control with the 2 nuts.
  Torque: 7.0 N.m (71 kgf.cm, 62 in.lbf)

REPLACE SLIDE DOOR OPEN STRIKER LH
1. Remove the 2 nuts and open striker.

2. Install the open striker with the 2 nuts.
  Torque: 7.0 N.m (71 kgf.cm, 62 in.lbf)

NOTE: Use the same procedures for the LH side.
REPLACE SLIDE DOOR OPEN STOP LH
1. (a) Remove the 2 nuts and open stop.

2. Install the open stop with the 2 nuts.
  Torque: 7.0 N.m (71 kgf.cm, 62 in.lbf)
