Inspection Procedure

Check voltage between terminal 1E-2 and 1J-8 of body ECU connector.
Preparation:
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect the body ECU connector.
Check:

Measure the voltage between terminal 1E-2 and 1J-8.

OK:

Voltage: 9 - 14 V
1. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .
2. NG: Go to next step.
Check DOME fuse.
Preparation:

Remove the DOME fuse from the R/B No. 2.

Check:

Check the continuity of the DOME fuse.

OK:

Continuity

1. NG: Replace faulty fuse.
2. OK: Go to next step.
Check for harness and connector between body ECU and body ground. See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE .
1. NG: Repair or replace harness or connector.
2. OK: Check and repair harness or connector between body ECU and battery. See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE .
