Throttle W/Motor Body ASSY (1GR-FE): Replacement

DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (1GR-FE)
REMOVE V-BANK COVER
1. Remove the 2 nuts and V-bank cover.

DISCONNECT VENTILATION HOSE NO. 2

REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSY
1. Disconnect the vacuum hose.

2. Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.
3. Remove the 2 wire harness clamps.
4. Loosen the 2 hose clamps.
5. Remove the 2 bolts and air cleaner

DISCONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE NO. 4

REMOVE THROTTLE W/MOTOR BODY ASSY
1. Disconnect the throttle motor connector.
2. Remove the 4 bolts, throttle w/ motor body and gasket.

INSTALL THROTTLE W/MOTOR BODY ASSY
1. Install a new gasket and the throttle w/ motor body with the 4 bolts.
  Torque: 11 N.m (112 kgf.cm, 9 ft.lbf)
2. Connect the throttle motor connector.
CONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE NO. 4
CONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE NO. 5
INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSY
1. Install the air cleaner with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)
CONNECT VENTILATION HOSE NO. 2
INSTALL V-BANK COVER
1. Install the V-bank cover with the 2 nuts.
  Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf.cm, 66 in. lbf)
ADD ENGINE COOLANT (1GR-FE)
CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS (See COOLING SYSTEM (1GR-FE) )
