"ON" (screen is touched) appears on the tester screen.
- OK : PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- NG : Go to next step.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (CERTIFICATION ECU - DOOR OSCILLATOR)
- Disconnect the D39 and D40 ECU connector.
- Disconnect the oscillator connectors.
- Measure the resistance between the oscillator and the certification ECU to check for an open circuit in the wire harness.
Standard: Below 1 Ω
- Measure the resistance between the oscillator and the certification ECU to check for an short circuit in the wire harness.
Standard: 10 kΩ or higher
HINT:
Refer to the wiring diagram for connection of each terminal.
- NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- OK : Go to next step.
- INSPECT CERTIFICATION ECU
- Reconnect the ECU and the oscillator connectors.
- Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard:

- OK : PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- NG : Go to next step.
- REPLACE DOOR OSCILLATOR (CHECK OPERATION OF DOOR OSCILLATOR)
- Replace the door oscillator.
- Check that the entry UNLOCK function operates normally.
OK:
Entry UNLOCK function operates normally.
- NG : PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- OK : END (DOOR OSCILLATOR IS DEFECTIVE)
