Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH ASSY 
    1. Disconnect the unlock warning switch connector.

    2. Measure the resistance of the unlock warning switch. Standard:
    TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART (1 OF 3)

    Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
    1 - 2 Pushed Below 1 Ω
    1 - 2 Not pushed 10kΩ or higher
    1. NG: REPLACE UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH ASSY 

    OK: Go To Next Step 

  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (TVIP ECU - UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH) 
    1. Disconnect the T3 TVIP ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the U1 unlock warning switch connector.
    3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
    TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART (2 OF 3)

    Tester Connection Specified Condition
    KSW(T3-12)-U1-2 Below 1 Ω
    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go To Next Step 

  3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH - BODY GROUND)

    1. Disconnect the unlock warning switch connector.
    2. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
    TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART (3 OF 3)

    Tester Connection Specified Condition
    U1-1 -Body ground Below 1 Ω
    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go To Next Step 

    CHECK AND REPLACE TVIP ECU (See  ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE  )
