Inspection Procedure

CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK OPERATION
1. Check that the wireless door lock function operates normally.
  OK: Wireless door lock function operates normally.
1. NG: Go to WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ SMART ENTRY SYSTEM) (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )
2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
READ DATA LIST (SMART KEY CANCEL SWITCH)
1. Connect the hand-held tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch from OFF to ON (IG) and press the hand-held tester main switch ON.
3. Select the item below in the DATA LIST and read the displays on the hand-held tester.

  OK: OFF (smart cancel switch is OFF) appears on the screen.
1. NG: Go to STEP3
2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
  REPLACE SMART KEY ECU ASSY

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SMART KEY CANCEL SWITCH ASSY - SMART KEY ECU ASSY AND BODY GROUND)

Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

Standard:

TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

INSPECT SMART KEY CANCEL SWITCH ASSY (See INSPECTION )
1. NG: REPLACE SMART KEY CANCEL SWITCH ASSY
2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
  REPLACE SMART KEY ECU ASSY
