Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 
    1. Check that the multiplex communication system operates normally.

      OK: Multiplex communication system operates normally. 

    1. NG: Go to MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (See  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING  ) 
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. CHECK OPERATION OF COMBINATION METER 
    1. After replacing the combination meter with a new one, check that the smart indicator operates normally.

      OK: Smart indicator operates normally. 

    1. NG: REPLACE SMART KEY ECU ASSY 
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

      END
