Window Defogger System: Inspection

INSPECT DEFOGGER RELAY (Marking: DEFOG)

Remove the DEFOG relay from the instrument panel J/B.

Measure the resistance of the relay.

Standard:

CONDITION RESISTANCE

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
1 - 2	Always	Below 1 Ω
3 - 5	Apply B+ between terminals land 2	Below Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.
