Inspection Procedure

- INSPECT NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the navigation receiver assembly connector R5.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester connection Condition Specified condition REV - Body ground Ignition switch is ON. Shift lever is moved to R position. 10 to 14 V REV - Body ground Ignition switch is ON. Shift lever is moved to any position except R. Below 1 V
OK: REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
NG: Go to next step
- CONFIRM MODEL

- Disconnect the navigation receiver assembly connector R5 and park/neutral position switch connector A3.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester connection Condition Specified condition REV - A3-1 Always Below 1 Ω REV - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH
- Disconnect the park/neutral position switch connector A3.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester connection Condition Specified condition A3-1 - A3-2 Shift lever is moved to R Below 1 Ω A3-1 - A3-2 Shift lever is moved to any position except R. 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH
OK: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH)

- Disconnect the navigation receiver assembly connector R5 and back-up light switch connector B1.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester connection Condition Specified condition REV-B1-1 Always Below 1 Ω REV - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH - BATTERY)

- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
