Inspection Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (OPERATE C/OPN RELAY)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Active Test / Control the Fuel Pump / Speed.
- Check the operation of the relay while operating it using the Techstream.
OK: Operating noise can be heard from the relay.
NG: Go to step 3
OK: Go to Next Step
- INSPECT FUEL PUMP
- Inspect fuel pump resistance (See INSPECTION ).
NG: REPLACE FUEL PUMP (See INSTALLATION )
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
- INSPECT ECM POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT COMPONENTS
OK: Go to Next Step
- INSPECT FUSE (IGCT NO. 3 FUSE)
- Remove the IGCT No. 3 fuse from the engine room relay block.
- Measure the resistance in the IGCT No. 3 fuse.
Standard resistance: Below 1 Ω
- Reinstall the fuse.
NG: REPLACE FUSE (IGCT NO. 3 FUSE)
OK: Go to Next Step
- INSPECT ENGINE ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (C/OPN RELAY)
- Inspect the C/OPN relay (See REMOVAL ).
NG: REPLACE ENGINE ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY
OK: Go to Next Step
- INSPECT HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU (FC VOLTAGE)
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
