Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT CLOCK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the clock assembly connector E5.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      E - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      B - E Always 10 to 14 V
      ACC - E Ignition switch on (ACC) 10 to 14 V

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK : PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
