Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT MULTI-DISPLAY (ACCESSORY METER) 
    1. Disconnect the multi-display (accessory meter) connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      GND1 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      SG - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage 

      VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      +B - GND1 Always 10 to 14 V
      ACC - GND1 Ignition switch on (ACC) 10 to 14 V
      IG - GND1 Ignition switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK : PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
