Brake Actuator: Removal
- DISCONNECT VSC ACTUATOR CONNECTOR
- Pull the release bar and disconnect the VSC actuator connector.NOTE: Be careful not to allow brake fluid to enter the removed connector.
- Pull the release bar and disconnect the VSC actuator connector.
- REMOVE BRAKE TUBE
- Use tags or make a note to identify the reconnection locations.
- Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the 2 brake tubes from the VSC actuator.
- Using a union nut wrench, remove the 2 brake tubes from the brake master cylinder.
- DISCONNECT BRAKE TUBE
- Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the 4 brake tubes from the VSC actuator.
- Remove the clamp from the VSC actuator bracket.
- REMOVE VSC ACTUATOR WITH ACTUATOR BRACKET ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 3 nuts and VSC actuator with actuator bracket.NOTE: Do not damage the brake lines or wire harness.
- Remove the 3 nuts and VSC actuator with actuator bracket.
