Brake Actuator: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT VSC ACTUATOR CONNECTOR 
    1. Pull the release bar and disconnect the VSC actuator connector.
      NOTE: Be careful not to allow brake fluid to enter the removed connector.

  2. REMOVE BRAKE TUBE 
    1. Use tags or make a note to identify the reconnection locations.

    2. Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the 2 brake tubes from the VSC actuator.

    3. Using a union nut wrench, remove the 2 brake tubes from the brake master cylinder.

  3. DISCONNECT BRAKE TUBE 
    1. Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the 4 brake tubes from the VSC actuator.
    2. Remove the clamp from the VSC actuator bracket.

  4. REMOVE VSC ACTUATOR WITH ACTUATOR BRACKET ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 3 nuts and VSC actuator with actuator bracket.
      NOTE: Do not damage the brake lines or wire harness.
