System Outline

* In order to reduce steering force required by the driver, an appropriate amount of assist current is calculated from the torque sensor signal and vehicle speed signal from the meter or CAN communication and is then output to the motor.

* When an abnormality occurs in the system, the assistance will be stopped by shutting off the power source relay and motor relay in ECU, and the warning light in the meter will be lit up.
