System Outline
- Manual Up-and-Down Function
While the ignition SW is ON, a one step operation upward (Pull) or downward (Push) of the door window switch makes the door glass move upward or downward respectively. Manually operating the power window master switch allows any of the windows to be operated remotely from the driver's seat. The door glass will stop at the position when the switch is released.
- One-Touch Auto Down Function
While the ignition SW is ON, a two step operation downward (Push) of the power window master switch on the driver door glass makes the driver door glass automatically move downward to the full-open position. The auto operation can be suspended by a one step operation upward.
- Window Lock
All the power window operations except the driver side door will be disabled if the window lock switch on the power window master switch is activated.
- Fail Mode LED Blinking
Self diagnosis switches the system into fail mode and the indicator light (LED) in the switch knob blinks to inform the user under the following conditions:
* If an abnormality is found in the hall IC that detects the position, speed and direction of the door glass.
* If there is a larger difference than the predetermined one between the position information that the hall IC detects and the position information that the power window switch has stored.
