Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Removal: Removal

  1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE 

    Refer to PRECAUTION

  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT  . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 1
  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER  See step  3
  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY  See step  4
  6. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 6
  7. DISCONNECT FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY NO. 2  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 8
  8. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Using a 19 mm deep socket wrench, remove the water temperature sensor and gasket.
