Throttle Body: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL

  2. REMOVE FRONT OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 10
  3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 24
  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
  5. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT  . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 3
  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER ASSEMBLY SEAL 
    1. Disengage the 3 vacuum hose clamps.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and the air cleaner inlet cover assembly seal.
  7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER AND HOSE 
    1. Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.

    2. Disengage the wire harness clamp.
    3. Disconnect the vacuum hose.

    4. Separate the vacuum hose from the hose clamp.
    5. Disconnect the vacuum switching valve connector.

    6. Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.
    7. Disconnect the 2 vacuum hoses.

    8. Loosen the clip and disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose.

    9. Separate the fuel vapor feed hose from the hose clamp.

    10. Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the air cleaner hose.
    11. Remove the 2 bolts and the air cleaner assembly.

  8. DISCONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE 
    1. Loosen the clip and disconnect the water by-pass hose.

  9. DISCONNECT NO. 2 WATER BY-PASS HOSE 
    1. Loosen the clip and disconnect the No. 2 water by-pass hose.

  10. REMOVE THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the throttle body connector and the wire harness clamp.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts, wire harness clamp stay and the throttle body.
    3. Remove the gasket from the intake air surge tank assembly.
