Throttle Body: Removal: Removal
- REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL
- REMOVE FRONT OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 10
- REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 24
- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
- DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 3
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER ASSEMBLY SEAL
- Disengage the 3 vacuum hose clamps.
- Remove the 2 bolts and the air cleaner inlet cover assembly seal.
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER AND HOSE
- Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.
- Disengage the wire harness clamp.
- Disconnect the vacuum hose.
- Separate the vacuum hose from the hose clamp.
- Disconnect the vacuum switching valve connector.
- Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.
- Disconnect the 2 vacuum hoses.
- Loosen the clip and disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose.
- Separate the fuel vapor feed hose from the hose clamp.
- Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the air cleaner hose.
- Remove the 2 bolts and the air cleaner assembly.
- DISCONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE
- Loosen the clip and disconnect the water by-pass hose.
- DISCONNECT NO. 2 WATER BY-PASS HOSE
- Loosen the clip and disconnect the No. 2 water by-pass hose.
- REMOVE THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the throttle body connector and the wire harness clamp.
- Remove the 4 bolts, wire harness clamp stay and the throttle body.
- Remove the gasket from the intake air surge tank assembly.
