VVT Sensor: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE NO. 2 EMISSION CONTROL VALVE SET 

    Refer to REMOVAL

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
  3. REMOVE VVT SENSOR (for Intake Side of Bank 1) 
    1. Disconnect the VVT sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and VVT sensor from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
  4. REMOVE VVT SENSOR (for Exhaust Side of Bank 1) 
    1. Disconnect the VVT sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and VVT sensor from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
  5. REMOVE VVT SENSOR (for Intake Side of Bank 2) 
    1. Disconnect the VVT sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and VVT sensor from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
  6. REMOVE VVT SENSOR (for Exhaust Side of Bank 2) 
    1. Disconnect the VVT sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and VVT sensor from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
