Customize Parameters

NOTE:
  • The personalization feature may not be set correctly if [Not equipped] is selected in the setting displayed on the Techstream. Do not select [Not equipped] in the setting displayed on the Techstream.
  • Settings of some repair instruction features displayed on the Techstream cannot be switched depending on the vehicle specification.
  1. Power Door Lock System Using Techstream 
    1. Connect the Techstream to DLC-2.
    2. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initial screen of the Techstream.
      1. Select the "Module Programming".
      2. Select "Programmable Parameters".
    3. Select menu in the engine stop and start ECU.
    4. Select an item name, and then select option.

      Unlock Mode (Without Touch Sensor) 2-step unlocking system can be set. Once: Driver's, Twice: All Doors. Once: All Doors./ Once:Driver's, Twice: All Doors. Engine stop and start ECU
      • For the auto door lock function, refer to therepair instruction for the mainbody ECU.

  3. Smart Key System Using Techstream 
    1. Connect the Techstream to DLC-2.
    2. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initial screen of the Techstream.
      1. Select the "Module Programming".
      2. Select "Programmable Parameters".
    3. Select menu in the engine stop and start ECU.
    4. Select an item name, and then select option.

      Advanced keyless function.*1 The smart key system and engine switch system functions can be disabled. Enabled. Enabled. / Disabled. Engine stop and start ECU
      Walk Away Lock. The out-of-area (reception area) type auto lock function can be set. OFF OFF / ON Engine stop and start ECU
      Auto Relock Time. The operation start time of the auto re-lock function can be changed 60 seconds 30 seconds / 60 seconds / 90 seconds Engine stop and start ECU
      Keyless Lock Beep Volume. The wireless door lock buzzer volume can be adjusted. Medium / off*2 Off / Low / Medium / High Engine stop and start ECU

      Preference 

      Tester Display Description Default Setting ECU
      PACE MAKER The smart key system and engine switch system functions can be disabled. ON 0:OFF, 1:ON Engine stop and start ECU
      WALK AWAY LOCKING The out-of-area (reception area) type auto lock function can be set. OFF 00:Not Adopted, 01:OFF, 10:ON Engine stop and start ECU
      AUTO RE-LOCK The operation start time of the auto re-lock function can be changed 60 seconds 00:Not Adopted, 01:30seconds, 10:60seconds, 11:90seconds Engine stop and start ECU

      *1 : Because the engine switch system function has been disabled, to start the engine press the upper part of the door control transmitter against the center of the engine switch.

      *2 : The initialization setting varies depending on the market and specification.

  4. Setting method by operation of door control transmitter button 
    • The following setting can be changed by operation of the door control transmitter button.
      Techstream display Function Initial setting Setting content Control unit
      Keyless Lock Beep Volume. The wireless door lock buzzer volume can be adjusted. Medium Off / Low / Medium / High Engine stop and start ECU
    • Change the setting for the wireless door lock buzzer volume referring to the following procedure:

      HINT: 

      • If any of the following conditions is met during procedure, the setting for changing the wireless door lock buzzer volume is finished.
        • The ignition is switched to ACC or ON (engine off or on).
        • The driver's door is closed.
        • The liftgate is open.
        • The door control transmitter operation is not performed for approx. 10 s.
        • The UNLOCK button on the door control transmitter is pressed.
        • A entry lock and unlock switch is pressed.

    1. Connect the Techstream to DLC-2.
    2. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initial screen of the Techstream.
      1. Select the "Module Programming".

    4. Select an item name, and then select option.
