DTC U0336-00: Software Incompatibility With Restraints Control Module: Procedure

1. Using the Techstream, perform the center airbag sensor assembly DTC inspection.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR

2. Are any DTCs present?

   Result

   Proceed to
   Yes
   No

1. Using the Techstream, clear the DTC from the brake actuator.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR

   Chassis > Anti-Lock Brake / Traction Control Module > Clear DTCs 

2. Using the Techstream, perform the brake actuator DTC inspection.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR

   Chassis > Anti-Lock Brake / Traction Control Module > Trouble Codes 

3. Is the same DTC present?

   Result

   Proceed to
   Yes
   No

Result:  2

Yes

1. Are any DTCs present?

   Result

   Proceed to
   Yes
   No

No 

DTC TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED.

GO TO APPLICABLE DTC INSPECTION.. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART 

1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the center airbag sensor assembly, then go to the next step.

   Refer to REMOVAL
