Advanced Keyless Entry System Does Not Operate [08/2019 - ]: Contents

Description
  • The door locking operation using the door entry lock and unlock switch is not possible.
  • The trunk cannot be open using the trunk lid opener switch.
  • The liftgate cannot be open using the liftgate opener switch.
Trouble Area
  • Trunk lid opener switch malfunction
  • Liftgate opener switch malfunction
  • Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals:
    • Main body ECU terminal E1-10 and trunk lid opener switch terminal E34-3
    • Certification ECU terminal E33-2 and entry lock and unlock switch (LF) terminal H8-2
    • Certification ECU terminal E33-1 and entry lock and unlock switch (RF) terminal H9-2
    • Engine stop and start ECU terminal D6-24 and door lock link switch (driver's side) terminal F18-8
    • Engine stop and start ECU terminal D6-32 and ground
    • Engine stop and start ECU terminal D4-13 and ground
  • Short to ground in wiring harness between Engine stop and start ECU terminal D6-24 and door lock link switch (driver's side) terminal F18-8
  • Connector poor contact or terminal damage
  • Customer's mis-operation or misunderstanding
