Retrieve Programming Datafiles for MHU Programming

The programming datafiles that are required are located on the VinFast Technical Data Portal, which is a Microsoft SharePoint site.

Please follow the below steps to locate and download the programming datafiles.

1. Insert the USB storage device into your PC. Ensure the USB has been prepared as per the instructions in the previous section.

   Ensure the USB is available for transferring data.

2. Navigate to the following location within the VinFast Technical Data Portal:
   1. https://vinfast.vingroup.net/TechnicalData/XeOTO/3.%20VF%20e34%20-%20Phan%20mem%20MHU 
3. Copy fota_package.zip file to USB to update, Multimedia Head Unit (MHU) or
4. Select the version of software that is applicable to the Multimedia Head Unit hardware part number that is fitted to the vehicle.

   Older hardware part numbers may not be compatible with the latest software.

   You can use the Intelligent Diagnostic System (SCAN TOOL) to check the hardware part number by selecting MHU and "ECU Info".

5. Download all of the ZIP files in the folder, as per the below instructions:
   1. If there is only one ZIP file in the folder, download the file directly to the USB.
   2. If there is more than one ZIP file in the folder, download the files to your PC hard drive, and follow the steps described in the below section "Recombining ZIP files with 7zip".
6. Once completed, safely eject the USB from your PC.
