Liftgate Close Switch Removal And Installation/Replacement

Removal Procedure: 

1. Remove lower tailgate trim panel. Refer to LIFTGATE TRIM FINISH PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

2. Press the retaining clips in the direction indicated by the arrows to release the switch (1).
3. Remove switch (1) from tailgate trim (2).

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.
2. Install lower tailgate trim panel. Refer to LIFTGATE TRIM FINISH PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
