Driver Monitoring Camera Removal And Installation/Replacement

Removal Procedure: 

1. Disconnect the 12V battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
2. Remove steering column upper and lower trim cover. Refer to STEERING COLUMN UPPER AND LOWER TRIM COVER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

3. Remove 3 screws (1) and remove driver monitoring camera (2).

   Torque: 0.6 Nm 

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following. All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 
2. Remove steering column upper and lower trim cover. Refer to STEERING COLUMN UPPER AND LOWER TRIM COVER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Reconnect the 12V battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
4. Diagnostics, Programming and Setup. Refer to DIAGNOSTICS, PROGRAMMING AND SETUP USING IDS IN SERVICE
