Front Short Range Radar Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  No

Removal Procedure: 

The procedure for the left-hand component is identical to that for the right-hand side. 

1. Remove front bumper fascia. Refer to FRONT BUMPER FASCIA REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

2. Remove 4 screws (1).

   Torque: 5 Nm 

3. Remove the bracket (2) from the front bumper with radar.
4. Unlock and disconnect electrical connector (3).

5. Remove 2 screws (1).

   Torque: 1.2 Nm 

6. Remove radar (2).

Replacement Procedure: 

1. Calibrate the front corner short range radar. Refer to CORNER SHORT RANGE RADAR DYNAMIC CALIBRATION 

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following. All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 
2. Install front bumper fascia. Refer to FRONT BUMPER FASCIA REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Diagnostics, Programming and Setup. Refer to DIAGNOSTICS, PROGRAMMING AND SETUP USING SCAN TOOL IN SERVICE
