Rear Short Range Radar Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  No

Removal Procedure: 

The procedure for the left-hand component is identical to that for the right-hand side. 

1. Remove rear bumper fascia. Refer to REAR BUMPER FASCIA REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

2. Remove 2 screws (1).

   Torque: 1.2 Nm 

3. Unlock and disconnect electrical connector (2).
4. Remove rear short-range radar (3).

Replacement Procedure: 

1. Calibrate the rear corner short range radar. Refer to REAR CORNER SHORT RANGE RADAR CALIBRATION 

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following. All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification. 
2. Install rear bumper fascia. Refer to REAR BUMPER FASCIA REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Diagnostics, Programming and Setup. Refer to DIAGNOSTICS, PROGRAMMING AND SETUP USING SCAN TOOL IN SERVICE
