Windshield Camera Dynamic Calibration

Mobile Repair Possible: Yes Van/Car

NOTE: Calibration may not be completed successfully if conditions are unfavourable

Perform calibration in good daylight - not during low light conditions or at night
Avoid conditions with low sun in front of the vehicle
Avoid poor weather conditions such as rain, snow and fog
Target straight roads with clear line markings
Avoid roads with cross hatch patterns or textural markings
Vehicle speed should be kept between 30 km/hr and 60 km/hr
Avoid accelerating or decelerating where possible

Procedure:

Using After Sales Diagnostic Tool select Front Windshield Camera "SPC Calibration"
Click "OK" to start
NOTE: If conditions are favourable then calibration can be complete within 80 seconds.
Calibration will time out after 15 minutes if "Completion Percentage" has not reached 100% in this time.
Diagnostic System will display "Completion Percentage" which updates every 30 seconds
Continue driving between 30 km/hr and 60 km/hr until "Completion Percentage" reaches 100%
NOTE: If calibration is failed before completion refer to Error Code list in the table below
"Calibration Successful" will be displayed once 100% is reached. Safely bring the vehicle to a complete stop, shift to PARK and leave ignition ON. Click "OK" once in PARK
The Diagnostic Tool will then instruct the technician to "Clear DTC" and then "Read DTC"
If DTC's are observed, then diagnose and resolve as necessary.
If no remaining DTC's are observed, then calibration can be considered complete
If Dynamic Calibration is failed prior to completion, refer to below Error Codes to determine necessary diagnosis and repair

Calibration Failure Message	Recommended Action
FAILED VERSION ERROR	Update Front Windshield Camera Calibration Perform diagnosis and replace Front Windshield Camera if required
FAILED CRC ERROR
FAILED WRONG DYNAMIC CAL MODE
FAILED MESSAGE TIMEOUT SPC
FAILED SWITCH TO SPC MODE FAILED
FAILED NVM WRITE FAILURE
FAILED ABORTED	Ensure Diagnostic Tool is securely connected to vehicle
FAILED EYEQ RESET	Check temperature of Windshield Camera is not too high. Check that voltage supply to Windshield Camera is correct. Update Front Windshield Camera Calibration Perform diagnosis and replace Front Windshield Camera if required
FAILED CAMERA INSTALLATION ERROR	Check Front Windshield Camera is mounted correctly. Attempt calibration again Check DTC's. Update Front Windshield Camera Calibration Perform diagnosis and replace Front Windshield Camera if required
FAILED PARAMS OUT OF RANGE	Update Front Windshield Camera Calibration Perform diagnosis and replace Front Windshield Camera if required
FAILED EYEQ GENERAL ERROR
FAILED EYEQ TIMEOUT ERROR	Attempt Dynamic Calibration again but ensure that visibility and driving condition requirements are met
FAILED EYEQ OOR ERROR	Check Front Windshield Camera is mounted correctly.
FAILED OTHER ERROR	Update Front Windshield Camera Calibration Perform diagnosis and replace Front Windshield Camera if required
PAUSED LOW SPEED	Speed is too low. Increase Vehicle Speed
PAUSED HIGH SPEED	Speed is too high. Decrease Vehicle Speed
PAUSED RADIUS	Curvature of road is too great. Find a straight road
PAUSED ACCELERATION	Acceleration is too great. Maintain a steady speed
PAUSED INTERNAL	Update Front Windshield Camera Calibration Perform diagnosis and replace Front Windshield Camera if required
