Front Mid Range Radar Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  Van/Car

Removal Procedure: 

1. Disconnect the 12V battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
2. Remove radar cover. Refer to RADAR COVER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Remove the 3 Screws (1).

   Torque: 2 Nm

4. Carefully guide out the mid-range radar (1) until the electrical plug becomes visible
5. Unlock and disconnect electrical connector (2).
6. Remove mid-range radar (1).

Replacement Procedure: 

1. Calibrate the front mid range radar. Refer to Front Short Range Radar Calibration

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification. 

2. Reconnect the 12V battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
3. Install radar cover. Refer to RADAR COVER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
4. Diagnostics, Programming and Setup. Refer to DIAGNOSTICS, PROGRAMMING AND SETUP USING IDS IN SERVICE
