Rear Short Range Radar Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  No

Removal Procedure: 

The procedure for the left-hand component is identical to that for the right-hand side. 

1. Remove rear bumper fascia. Refer to REAR BUMPER FASCIA REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
2. Unlock and disconnect electrical connector (1).
3. Remove 2 screws (1).

   Torque: 1.2 Nm 

4. Remove rear short-range radar (2) in the direction of the arrow.

Replacement Procedure: 

1. Calibrate the rear corner short range radar. Refer to Rear Short Range Radar Calibration

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification] 

2. Install rear bumper fascia. Refer to REAR BUMPER FASCIA REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Diagnostics, Programming and Setup. Refer to DIAGNOSTICS, PROGRAMMING AND SETUP USING IDS IN SERVICE
