Ignition Timing: Adjustments

1. First ensure that the following adjustments are correct:
a. Throttle plate stop*
b. Ignition timing
c. Engine is at operating temp.
d. All hoses are properly connected.
e. Digital Idle stabilizer (DIS) plugs are connected together.**
2. To adjust the idle speed, turn the recessed air bypass screw in the throttle housing.
3. Adjust idle speed to 880 - 1000 rpm
4. Reconnect plugs to DIS.

*Do not use the throttle stop to adjust the idle speed. See "Throttle Plate" section for adjustment procedure.
**The DIS is mounted on top of the ignition control unit.
