Idle Speed, Co Level & Ignition Timing

Ensure idle speed, CO level and base ignition timing are set to specification. If necessary, see ADJUSTMENTS article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section.

(1) Disconnect Blue coolant temperature sensor connector.
(2) Clamp crankcase breather hose near emission control valve.
(3) Not adjustable.

(1) Disconnect coolant temperature sensor.
