Mechanical Inspection: Compression
Check engine mechanical condition with a compression gauge, vacuum gauge, or an engine analyzer. See engine analyzer manual for specific instructions. Compression pressure must be 363-450 psi (25.5-31.6 kg/cm2 ) and maximum variation between cylinders must not exceed 73 psi (5.1 kg/cm2 ).
