Checking One Touch Up, One Touch Down Function: EuroVan
- Ensure circuit breaker S43 (30-amps) located above fuse/relay panel is okay. Ensure battery is fully charged and operating properly. Deactivate and reactivate one touch up, one touch down window function. See REACTIVATING ONE TOUCH UP, ONE TOUCH DOWN WINDOW FUNCTIONS under PROGRAMMING.
- Sit in driver's seat of vehicle and close all doors. Turn ignition on and close all windows. Briefly press and release window switch for suspect window. If window opens completely after one touch, go to next step. If window stops before opening completely, ensure power window regulator operates smoothly and/or is adjusted correctly. If window regulator operates smoothly and is correctly adjusted, replace combined motor and power window control module.
- Briefly pull up and release window switch for suspect window. If window closes completely after one touch, go to next step. If window stops before closing completely, ensure power window regulator operates smoothly and/or is adjusted correctly. If window regulator operates smoothly and is correctly adjusted, replace combined motor and power window control module.
- Sit in driver's seat and close door. Turn ignition on. Turn ignition off and remove key from ignition switch. Without opening doors, attempt to operate suspect power window using one touch function. If window operates properly (fully opens or closes), go to next step. If driver's door power window does not operate properly, go to CHECKING DRIVER'S DOOR POWER WINDOW OPERATION . If passenger's door power window does not operate properly, go to CHECKING PASSENGER'S DOOR POWER WINDOW OPERATION .
- Turn ignition on. Turn ignition off and remove key from ignition switch. Open driver's door and attempt to operate suspect power window using one touch function. If power window does not operate, one touch system is operating properly. If power window operates, check driver's door contact switch. See CHECKING DRIVER'S DOOR POWER WINDOW OPERATION . If door contact switch and wiring are okay, replace combined motor and power window control module.
