Pin Procedure - Replace/Adapt Control Module For Anti-Theft Immobilizer: Notes

Determine method by which data is exchanged between the Engine Control Module (ECM) and Immobilizer control module. Adapt ECM using appropriate procedure depending on data exchange protocol. See Data Exchange Via CAN Bus, J362 PIN Procedure  or Data Exchange Via "W" Circuit, J362 PIN Procedure  .

Use Read Measuring Value Block (function 08) and observe data in display group 001, display field 1. See READ MEASURING VALUE BLOCK (FUNCTION 08)  .
