Test Step 2 - Logic Ground Open

• Turn the ignition OFF.
• Disconnect the power liftgate drive unit harness connector.
• Disconnect the power liftgate module C2 harness connector.
• Measure the resistance of both the logic ground circuits between the power liftgate drive unit harness connector and the power liftgate module C2 harness connector.

Is the resistance less than 10k ohms?

Yes

• Go to Test Step 3 Test Step 3 - Position Sensor Signal 1 Circuit Short to Ground 

No

• Repair the logic ground circuit for an open.
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
