• Turn the ignition OFF.
• Measure the resistance between the liftgate open driver circuit and the liftgate close driver circuit.

Is the resistance less than 1.5 ohms (should be approximately 4.3 ohms)?

No

• Go to Test Step 6 B1967 - POWER LIFTGATE OPEN DIRECTION OVERCURRENT => Test Step 6 - Power Liftgate Drive Unit 

Yes

• Go to Test Step 5 Test Step 5 - Liftgate Open Driver Circuit Short to Liftgate Close Driver Circuit
