Test Step 7 - Power Liftgate Drive Unit

• Reconnect all connectors.
• Operate the power liftgate in both directions if possible.

Does the motor start to lift or lower the liftgate but moves very slow and labors extensively?

Yes

• Replace the power liftgate drive unit assembly. Refer to POWER LIFTGATE DRIVE UNIT .
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .

No

• Replace the power liftgate module. Refer to POWER LIFTGATE CONTROL MODULE .
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
