Checking Wiring

-- Remove the Engine Control Module (ECM) -J623-. Refer to the Repair Information.

-- Using a multimeter, Check the Reduction Agent Reversing Valve -N473- electrical harness connector to the Engine Control Module (ECM) -J623- electrical harness T94 connector for resistance. Refer to Wiring Diagrams for detail.

Reduction Agent Reversing Valve -N473- electrical harness connector Engine Control Module (ECM) -J623- electrical harness connector terminals or fuse location:
1 Fuse, Refer to applicable wiring diagram for fuse location and number.
2 T94 / 50

Specified value: 1.5 Ω Max.

If the specification was not obtained:

-- Check the wiring for a short circuit to each other, Battery positive, Ground or high resistance.

-- If necessary, repair the faulty wiring connection.

-- Check the electrical harness connector for damage, corrosion, loose or broken terminals.

If the specified value was obtained:

If no malfunction is detected in the wiring and the voltage were correct:

-- Replace the Engine Control Module (ECM) -J623-. Refer to the service information for removal and installation procedures.
