Power Adjustable Steering Column Control Module -J866-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Install the Power Adjustable Steering Column Control Module -J866- -1- with the pin into the groove -arrow- on the steering column.

-- Tighten the bolt.

If a power adjustable steering column is replaced, the Power Adjustable Steering Column Control Module -J866- is already installed on the new steering column and does not need to be modified.

If the Power Adjustable Steering Column Control Module -J866- was replaced, the Power Adjustable Steering Column Control Module -J866- must be adapted.

Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Follow the instructions on the screen to perform the adaptation.

Perform a basic setting if the Power Adjustable Steering Column Control Module -J866- was replaced.

Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
