Peripheral Camera System, Calibrating

-- Install the Calibration System:VAS 721 001  . Refer to Installation .

-- Drive the vehicle centrally between the calibration patterns, until the front axle of the vehicle reaches the dimension -a- = 500 mm ± 100 mm.

-- Positioning the VW emblems at the front and rear of the vehicle, centrally above the previously placed center line in between the calibration patterns.

• The difference of the vehicle center to the center of the calibration field is allowed to be a maximum dimension of -b- = ± 100 mm at the front and rear axle.

-- Set-up the requirement for the vehicle. Refer to Requirement .

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Calibrating Procedure

-- Select the Diagnostic  mode and start the diagnosis.

-- Select the Test plan  tab.

-- Select the Select individual test  button and select the following tree structure consecutively:

• Body
• Electrical Equipment
• 01 - OBD-capable systems
• 6C - Peripheral camera system
• 6C - Peripheral camera, functions
• 6C - Calibrating

From here on, the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester will guide you through the calibration procedure.
