Radio/Navigation Display Unit Control Module -J503-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- If there is a CD still in the player, remove it. Refer to the appropriate information..

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment and remove the ignition key.

-- Remove the instrument cluster trim. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL .

-- Remove the screws -2- from the Radio/Navigation Display Unit Control Module -J503- -1-.

-- Pull out the Radio/Navigation Display Unit Control Module -J503- -1- out of the installation slot just far enough until the connectors on the back are accessible.

Connectors -1 Through 6- :

  1. Multi-Pin Connector, Quad Block
  2. Not Assigned
  3. Radio Antenna Connector
  4. Radio Antenna Connector
  5. Video Signals Connector
  6. Connector, DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) / satellite tuner antenna

-- Squeeze the safety mechanism on the connector -arrows-.

-- Move the locking bracket in direction of the -arrow-. The connector will be pushed out at the same time.

-- Push the connector release -1- and pivot the bracket in the direction of the -arrow-.

-- Release and disconnect the antenna connection -2-.

-- Disconnect the antenna connection -3-.
