Abs Control Module -J104-/Abs Hydraulic Unit -N55-, Removing And Installing, LHD: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

Condition

• The hydraulic unit must be prefilled.

-- Insert the hydraulic unit and control module -1- with the bracket -3- opposite the -direction of the arrow-.

-- Make sure that the rubber bushing -4- cannot be pushed out of the bracket -3-.

-- Remove the plug from the hydraulic unit.

-- Position the union bolts -1- to -6- with the Torque Wrench - Assembly Tool :V.A.G 1410/8  .

-- Tighten the union bolts -1- through -6-.

-- Remove the Brake Pedal Actuator :V.A.G 1869/2  .

-- Refer to Hydraulic System, Bleeding .

If the vehicle control module was replaced, complete the test plan for replacing the control module.

-- Complete the "Control module, replacing" function using the Vehicle diagnostic tester . Refer to Diagnostic Entries .
