MECHATRONIC, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

Tip

Tape off the connector housing with Adhesive Tape to avoid scratches.

-- Install the seal -1-.

-- Coat the seal -1- with DSG transmission fluid.

-- Remove the adhesive tape.

Conditions

• Sealing area free of adhesive tape residue.

If the mechatronic was replaced

-- Perform the "mechatronic, replacing" function using the Vehicle diagnostic tester . Refer to DIAGNOSTIC ENTRY .

Continuation

If the mechatronic was reinstalled

-- Perform the "Basic setting" function using the Vehicle diagnostic tester . Refer to DIAGNOSTIC ENTRY .
