Abs Control Module -J104-/ Abs Hydraulic Unit -N55-, Removing And Installing, LHD: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal, while noting the following:
- The hydraulic unit is prefilled. Only remove the plugs on the hydraulic unit if the corresponding brake line is installed, so that sufficient filling and bleeding is guaranteed.
Condition
- When installing the hydraulic unit, the rubber bushings must not be pushed out of the bracket.
-- Position the brake lines using the Wrench - Assembly Tool :V.A.G 1410/8 in sequence -1- to -6-.
-- Tighten the brake lines in the sequence -1- to -6-.
-- Remove the Brake Pedal Actuator :V.A.G 1869/2 .
-- Refer to Hydraulic System, Bleeding .
If the ABS Control Module -J104- was replaced, then the test plan for replacing the control module must be performed.
-- Perform the "control module, replacing" function using the Vehicle diagnostic tester . Refer to Diagnostic Entries .
