Circuit Tests: Converter

Turn ignition ON. Connect DVOM between ground and terminals No. 7 and 9 of ECU connector. DVOM should read 12 volts. If voltage is not present, measure voltage on converter connector terminals No. 1 and 4. Converter is located to right of ECU below transient surge protector. If voltage is not present on any of these terminals, replace defective converter.
