Power Circuit Checks

  1. Using a voltmeter, connect voltmeter leads between ECU connector pin No. 35 and ground.
  2. Turn ignition switch to the "ON" position. Voltmeter should read 12 volts. Also, crank engine and check that 12 volts exists when engine is being cranked.


  1. Using a voltmeter, connect voltmeter leads between ground and ECU connector pin No. 18.
  2. Turn ignition switch to the "ON" position. Voltmeter should read 12 volts (battery voltage). Also, crank engine and check that 12 volts exists when engine is being cranked.
