Code 2-3-4 (Throttle Switch Signal)

Turn ignition off. Disconnect ECU connector and remove protective sleeve. Connect an ohmmeter between terminal No. 7 (Yellow/White wire on 240 series and Orange wire on 740 GL) and ground. Reading should be zero ohms. If resistance is not within specification, check resistance at throttle switch. For throttle switch testing, see SYSTEM/COMPONENT TESTS article.
