When replacing the dashboard:
- VDO: Code for right market and program in mileage and select service interval as shown in Diagnostic test mode (DTM) 5 - Reading off data and Diagnostic test mode (DTM) 6 - Data entry .
NOTE:
It is important to do this in the right order and as shown under DTM 6.
- Read off and erase any DTCs.
- YAZAKI: Write in the service and warranty manual that the dashboard has been replaced. Note down the gauge readings and the date the replacement was made.
- Reassemble in reverse order.
NOTE:
Make sure that the flap on the underneath of the cover fits into its slot.
