Injector valve, replacement: Preparation

Drain the fuel system. See Fuel system pressure release .

Disconnect the injector valves' connectors.

Remove the mounting screws from the fuel rail.

Separate the fuel line's quick-release connector under the intake pipe. Use tool 9995666 .

Spray universal oil or the like around the injectors' connection on the intake pipe.

Wiggle and carefully pull loose the inlet pipe and injectors.
