Checking communication cable to data link connector (DLC)

• Ignition off.
• Disconnect control module.
• Volvo Scan Tool (ST) disconnected from data link connector (DLC).

  Connect an ohmmeter between data link connector (DLC) terminal 7 and #13 on the breakout box.

The ohmmeter should read 0 Ω. 

• OK 

  Refer to Checking the communication cable 

• NOT OK 

  Refer to Checking for an open-circuit in the cable
